Resistance bomb blasts puppet "Iraqi National Guard" patrol in western al-Fallujah.
In a dispatch posted at 5:30pm Mecca time Monday afternoon,
Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded
by a patrol of the puppet "Iraqi National Guard" on the main road in
the west of al-Fallujah, some 60km west of Baghdad.
The al-Fallujah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local
eyewitnesses as saying that the bomb had gone off by a patrol of four
vehicles belonging to the puppet "National Guard," destroying one of
the vehicles and killing three Iraqi puppet guards and wounding a
fourth.

Resistance car bomb attack kills five US troops Sunday, Iraqi puppet spokesman tells press.
In a dispatch posted at 2:45pm Mecca time Monday afternoon,
Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a spokesman for the Iraqi puppet army
told a press conference in ar-Ramadi on Monday morning that an Iraqi
Resistance car bomb attack on US and Iraqi puppet army troops in
al-Qa’im on Sunday had killed five US soldiers and four Iraqi puppet
army troops and wounded two more Americans.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported Colonel Jasim
Jariyu of the 1st Division of the Iraqi puppet army as saying that an
Iraqi Resistance fida’i fighter had carried out the attack.
The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent in al-Qa’im confirmed the
report, saying that there had been reports circulating about such an
attack the day before (Sunday) but that the curfew had prevented
details from getting out.
Rawah.
Resistance bomb blasts US armored column in Rawah.
In a dispatch posted at 1:50pm Mecca time Monday afternoon,
Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded
by a US military column in the western Iraqi town of Rawah on the
highway leading to al-Qa’im on the Syrian border
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in
Rawah as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of the
highway blew up near the crossroads west of the city as a column of
several tanks and armored vehicles was driving past.
The explosion disabled one US tank, wounding four American troops
who were aboard it. Afterwards, American forces closed the highway and
sealed off the entire area.
Hit.
Resistance bombards joint US-Iraqi puppet army headquarters in Hit.
In a dispatch posted at 1:40pm Mecca time Monday afternoon,
Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces four mortar
rounds from two different directions into the joint US-Iraqi puppet
army headquarters in the middle of Hit in western Iraq.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local eyewitnesses
as saying that the joint headquarters took direct hits from the mortar
shells, the explosions shaking the area and sending plumes of smoke
rising from inside the facility.
Al-Khalidiyah.
Two US troops reported killed in Resistance bombing in al-Khalidiyah.
In a dispatch posted at 11:45am Mecca time Monday morning, Mafkarat
al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded by a US
column on the main road in the town of al-Khalidiyah, west of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local eyewitnesses
as saying that a bomb that had been planted beside the main road blew
up as a US column passed by, setting fire to one American personnel
carrier and killing two US soldiers and wounding two more American
troops.

Resistance bombards joint US-Iraqi puppet army checkpoint in ad-Durah.
In a dispatch posted at 2:30pm Mecca time Monday afternoon,
Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces had fired three
82mm mortar rounds into a joint US-Iraqi puppet army chceckpoint in the
Abu Dushayr area to the south of the southern Baghdad suburb of
ad-Durah.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of Abu
Dushayr who witnessed the barrage as saying that two of the mortar
rounds blasted directly into the checkpoint sending plumes of smoke
rising over the stricken area. No information on the nature or extent
of casualties was available.
Resistance bombards US headquarters in ar-Ridwaniyah.
In a dispatch posted at 2pm Mecca time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat
al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces had fired five 82mm
mortar rounds into the US military headquarters in ar-Ridwaniyah in
southern Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of
ar-Ridwaniyah who witnessed the barrage as saying that the mortar
shells blasted directly into the US-occupied facility, sending plumes
of smoke rising into the sky.
Resistance bomb blast puppet police patrol in al-Iskan area of western Baghdad.
In a dispatch posted at 1:10pm Mecca time Monday afternoon,
Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance car bomb had
exploded by an Iraqi puppet police patrol in the al-Iskan neighborhood
of western Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of
al-Iskan who witnessed the attack as saying tat an explosives-packed
car that had been parked by the side of the main road near the
Children’s Hospital blew up as the puppet police patrol drove past.
The explosion set one of the police cars on fire, killing two
puppet policemen and wounding three more of them. The correspondent
reported that two civilians who happened to be in the area of the blast
were also killed and four others wounded. Three cars in the area also
were burned.
Resistance ambush in ad-Durah leaves Badr Brigade commander dead.
In a dispatch posted at 11:45am Mecca time Monday morning, Mafkarat
al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters armed with machineguns
had assaulted a column of vehicles belonging to the pro-America Shi'i
sectarian Badr Bridage militia in the southern Baghdad suburb of
ad-Durah.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the
Iraqi puppet police as saying that the Resistance fighters heavily
damaged one of the vehicles, killing one Badr Brigade commander and
wounding another.
US soldier reported killed in bomb attack south of Baghdad.
In a dispatch posted at 11:35am Mecca time Monday morning, Mafkarat
al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded by a US
military column on a farm road in the al-Bu 'Ithah area south of
Baghdad.

of al-Bu 'Ithah who witnessed the attack as saying that the bomb went
off as a column of several American Humvees was driving past. The
explosion disabled one of the vehicles, killing one US soldier and
wounding two more.
Resistance bombards puppet "Shock Troop" headquarters in as-Sayyidiyah.
In a dispatch posted at 10:25am Mecca time Monday morning, Mafkarat
al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces had fired three heavy
120mm mortar rounds into a headquarters of puppet "Iraqi Interior
Ministry Shock Troops" in as-Sayyidiyah to the south of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of
as-Sayyidiyah who witnessed the bombardment as saying that the shells
blasted directly into the building, sending plumes of smoke rising from
inside the facility.
Resistance attack seriously wounds puppet "Deputy Governor" of Baghdad early Monday.
A source in the Iraqi puppet "Interior Ministry" announced on
Monday that Ziyad 'Ali az-Zawbi'i, the puppet "Deputy Governor" of
Baghdad and three of his body guards had been wounded in an
assassination attempt.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported the source, who
asked not to be identified, a telling Agence France Presse that the
attack took place in the southern Baghdad neighborhood of al-'Amil
early Monday morning. Resistance fighters opened fire on the puppet
official’s motorcade.
Quds Press quoted a source in the puppet "Iraqi Interior Ministry
as saying that Resistance fighters in a small Kia car opened fire on
the puppet deputy governor’s motorcade, seriously wounding az-Zawbi'i.
The "Interior Ministry" source said that three of the deputy governor’s
guards and two civilians were killed in the incident.
Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in al-Yarmuk Hospital in
western Baghdad as reporting that the facility "admitted the deputy
governor of Baghdad and three members of his guard who had been wouned
by gunfire and they are all now under intensive care."
Iraqi puppet court hands down death, prison sentences for Resistance activities.
In a dispatch posted at 1pm Mecca time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat
al-Islam reported that the US-installed "Iraqi Supreme Court" had
sentenced a Saudi and two Algeriansto 15 years in prison on charges of
what it called "terrorism."
The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the
public relations office of the puppet court had distributed a statement
Monday saying that after the Saudi and the Algerian had "confessed," an
and on the basis of "evidence and witness testimony" the court had
"imposed a sentence on the Algerian Badis Kamal Musa of imprisonment
for 15 years, on the Algerian Amin Balqasim Sadah 'Isa of imprisonment
for 15 years, and on the Saudi 'Abd ar-Rahim Muhammad 'Abdallah of
imprisonment for 15 years for crossing the border illegally, possession
and distribution of weapons to armed men, and manufacturing
explosives."
A source in the court system who asked not to be identified told
the correspondent for Mafkart al-Islam that in addition to the three
15-year sentences, the court had also sentenced eight Iraqis and Arabs
of other countries to death. The source did not name the countries of
origin of those non-Iraqi Arabs.

In a dispatch posted at 3:45pm Mecca time Monday afternoon,
Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded
by a US military convoy hauling equipment to US bases on the highway
leading south from Baghdad.
The al-Latifiyah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported
eyewitnesses as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of
the highway south of al-Latifiyah blew up as the convoy of four Humvees
and eight trucks loaded with equipment was driving past. The explosion
disabled one of the military trucks, wounding two US soldiers.
Resistance bomb blasts US column north of al-Latifiyah.
In a dispatch posted at 2:20pm Mecca time Monday afternoon,
Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded
by a column of several US Humvees on the main road leading to the 'Arab
Jabbur area north of al-Latifiyah, which is south of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of
al-Latifiyah who witnessed the attack as saying that the bomb disabled
one Humvee, killing or wounding the members of its three man American
crew.

Buhriz.
Resistance fighters ambush truck convoy, disabling 20 trucks, killing 20 drivers east of Baghdad.
In a dispatch posted at 5pm Mecca time Monday evening, Mafkarat
al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces had attacked a truck
convoy hauling provisions to US bases on the road linking an-Nahrawan,
25km southeast of Baghdad, with Buhriz, 50km northeast of Baghdad.
The Diyala Province correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a
source in the Iraqi puppet police as saying that Iraqi Resistance
fighters armed with light and medium weapons ambushed a convoy of about
20 trucks, disabling all of them and killing the 20 drivers who had
been working for the US occupation forces.

Mosul.
Resistance attacks puppet police targets in Mosul.
In a dispatch posted at 5:5pm Mecca time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat
al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters had ambushed an Iraqi
puppet police patrol in the al-Muthanna neighborhood in the middle of
the northern city of Mosul.
The Mosul correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local
eyewitnesses as saying that Resistance fighters equipped with
machineguns attacked the patrol and killed two of the puppet policemen
and wounded two more of them.
Another detachment of Iraqi Resistance fighters ambushed an officer
in the puppet police force near the puppet police directorate in Mosul,
killing him instantly. The fighters then withdrew from the scene,
having suffered no casualties of their own.
