Al-Fallujah.
Resistance bombards US-occupied houses in 'Amiriyat al-Fallujah Sunday afternoon.
Iraqi Resistance forces unleashed a bombardment of homes in which
US troops were billeted in 'Amiriyat al-Fallujah at about 4:30pm local
time Sunday afternoon.
The 'Amiriyat al-Fallujah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam
reported that six heavy 120mm mortar rounds blasted directly into
houses occupied by US troops and used as headquarters in the area.
At the same time the Resistance fired two Katyusha rockets into
another house that American forces had occupied near the al-'Anazah
Bridge, which links 'Amiriyat al-Fallujah with the village of Zawbi'.
The rockets scored direct hits on the house, but since no one was
allowed to approach American-occupied facilities, no specific
information on the nature or extent of casualties was available.
Two US soldiers wounded by Resistance sharpshooter’s bullets in 'Amiriyat al-Fallujah, one reportedly fatally.
In a dispatch posted at 1pm Mecca time Sunday afternoon, Mafkarat
al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance marksman had shot two US
soldiers in the middle of the 'Amiriyat al-Fallujah area, southwest of
al-Fallujah. One of the American soldiers was killed, the other
wounded.
The 'Amiriyat al-Fallujah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam
reported eyewitnesses as saying that two US soldiers were shot by an
Iraqi Resistance sharpshooter as they stood near a checkpoint near an
Iraqi puppet regime installation in the town. The sharpshooter killed
one of the American troops and severely wounded the second, witnesses
said.
After the attack, US troops surrounded the area and searched the nearby buildings but found no sign of the Resistance attacker.
Resistance bomb blasts US armored column in al-Karmah.
In a dispatch posted at 10:45am Mecca time Sunday morning, Mafkarat
al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded by a US
column on a farm road in al-Karmah, east of al-Fallujah.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported owners of farm
fields and groves in al-Karmah who witnessed the bombing as saying that
an explosive device that had been planted in the middle of the road
blew up as an American armored column passed over it. The explosion
disabled one of the US armored vehicles, wounding four o the American
troops who were aboard it, two of them seriously.
Resistance fighters ambush US column with rockets, reportedly killing US soldier.
In a dispatch posted at 10:35am Mecca time Sunday morning, Mafkarat
al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters had attacked a US
column on the main road in the middle of al-Fallujah.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local eyewitnesses
as saying that Resistance fighters opened fire with pipe rockets on the
American column, disabling a Humvee and killing one US soldier and
wounding two more American troops. The Resistance men then withdrew
from the area, witnesses said.
Ar-Ramadi.
Two US soldiers reported killed in roadside bombing in western ar-Ramadi.
In a dispatch posted at 9:50am Mecca time Sunday morning, Mafkarat
al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded by a US
column on the main road west of ar-Ramadi.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local eyewitnesses
as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of the road to
the main US base in ar-Ramadi blew up by a passing column of several
American Humvees. The explosion completely destroyed one of the US
vehicles, killing two American soldiers and wounding two more of them.
US troops arrest translator in al-Warrar camp, charging him with espionage for Iraqi Resistance.
US forces on Sunday morning arrested an Iraqi translator who had
been working for them in their al-Warrar base west of ar-Ramadi on
charges that he had been spying for the Iraqi Resistance.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the
Iraqi puppet army as saying that US troops arrested Muhammad 'Abd
ar-Rahman al-'Ani, 30, who had been working with them as a translator
because of suspicions that he had been passing information from inside
the camp to Iraqi Resistance fighters.
The source, who asked not to be identified, said that the Americans
began to suspect the translator after a series of Resistance rocket
attacks struck the camp, targeting important targets inside the
facility.
The US forces also began to suspect the translator because he lived
in ar-Ramadi but had never been attacked by the Resistance, despite the
fact that Resistance forces regularly target translators working for US
troops, considering them collaborators. The sources said that more than
10 translators working for the American troops at that base had been
assassinated, but al-'Ani had not so far been attacked.
For their part, US forces issued a statement broadcast over
America’s propaganda Radio al-Hurriyah that broadcasts within al-Anbar
Province, saying that the translator Muhammad al-'Ani had been spying
for the "terrorists" – as the Americans dubbed the Iraqi Resistance
forces – and that he would be charged with high treason against the
occupation regime.
Baghdad.
Resistance bomb targets puppet police patrol in al-Mustansiriyah neighborhood.
In a dispatch posted at 12:30pm Mecca time Sunday, Mafkarat
al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded by an
Iraqi puppet police patrol on the main road in Baghdad’s
al-Mustansiriyah neighborhood.
The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents
of al-Mustansiriyah who witnessed the attack as saying that a bomb that
had been planted by the side of the road blew up as a puppet police
patrol drove past, disabling one patrol vehicle and killing two puppet
policemen and wounding two more of them.
A report carried by al-Jazeera satellite TV network said that three puppet policemen were killed in the bomb attack.
Resistance ambushes Iraqi puppet army column heading south out of Baghdad.
In a dispatch posted at 11:10am Mecca time Sunday morning, Mafkarat
al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters armed with light and
medium weapons attacked a column of Iraqi puppet army troops on the
main road leading south from Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the
puppet police as saying that Resistance fighters ambushed the Iraqi
puppet army column on the highway to al-Mahmudiyah, heavily damaging
the vehicles in the column and killing three Iraqi puppet army troops
and wounding three more of them. After their attack, the Resistance
fighters then withdrew from the area.
US admits death of soldier from wounds received Friday in al-Fallujah.
Al-Jazeera satellite TV reported Sunday that the US military had
announced that one American soldier who had been wounded by what it
called "non-hostile gunfire" in al-Fallujah on Friday had died of his
wounds Saturtday.

At-Tarimiyah.
Resistance bomb south of at-Tarimiyah reportedly kills US soldier.
In a dispatch posted at 6:45pm Mecca time Sunday night, Mafkarat
al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded by a US
patrol in at-Tarimiyah, north of Baghdad.
The at-Tarimiyah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported
eyewitnesses as saying that the bomb exploded as a US column passed by
it, south of at-Tarimiyah. The blast, they said, destroyed one Humvee,
killing an American soldier and wounding three more who were aboard the
vehicle.
Ad-Dujayl.
Resistance fighters ambush convoy hauling construction materials to US bases, killing driver.
In a dispatch posted at 5pm Mecca time Sunday evening, Mafkarat
al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters had ambushed a convoy
of trucks loaded with construction materials for US bases on the main
road south of the ad-Dujayl area, north of Baghdad.
The ad-Dujayl correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported
eyewitnesses as saing that Resistance fighters armed with machine guns
attacked the convoy, damaging one of the trucks and killing its driver,
who was working for the US occupation troops.
Ad-Dulu 'iyah.
Resistance sharpshooter fells US soldier in ad-Dulu'iyah.
In a dispatch posted at 11:40am Mecca time Sunday morning, Mafkarat
al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance marksman had shot and killed
a US soldier in ad-Dulu'iyah, north of Baghdad
The Samarra’ correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported
eyewitnesses as saying that the American soldier was in a US column on
the main road near the ad-Dulu'iyah Bridge when a Resistance
sharpshooter’s bullet struck and killed him.
After the attack, US forces opened fire indiscriminately at nearby houses, heavily damaging them.
Tikrit.
Resistance bomb near southern gates of Tikrit leaves US soldier reported dead.
In a dispatch posted at 9:55am Mecca time Sunday morning, Mafkarat
al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded by a US
military column near the southern gates to Tikrit on the main road
leading to the center of the city.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of
Tikrit who witnessed the attack as saying that the bomb destroyed a
Humvee, killing one US soldier and wounding two more American troops.
Balad.
US troops fire on Iraqi civilians near Balad checkpoint, killing one.
Al-Jazeera satellite TV reported Sunday that US troops opened fire
on two Iraqi civilians near a checkpoint in the town of Balad, north of
Baghdad. One of the men was killed by the American attack, the other
wounded.
Diyala Province.
Al-Miqdadiyah.

al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded by a US
military column on the main road in al-Miqdadiyah, northeast of
Baghdad.

al-Miqdadiyah as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side
of the main road blew up as a US column was passing by. The explosion
disabled one Humvee, killing two US troops and wounding two more
American soldiers, the witnesses said.

headquarters operated by US and Iraqi puppet army forces in the
al-Miqdadiyah in western Diyala Province northeast of Baghdad.

Resistance bomb leaves a reported three US troops dead.
In a dispatch posted at 10:05am Mecca time Sunday morning, Mafkarat
al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded by a US
column on the main road in the Shahraban (al-Miqdadiyah) area in
southwestern Diyala Province, some 100km northeast of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the
Iraqi puppet police as saying that the bomb went off as a column of
several Humvees was driving past, disabling one of the vehicles and
killing three US troops and seriously wounding a fourth.
Khan Bani Sa'd.
Resistance bombards joint US-Iraqi puppet army headquarters in Khan Bani Sa'd.
In a dispatch posted at 5:50pm Mecca time Sunday, Mafkarat al-Islam
reported that Iraqi Resistance forces had bombarded the joint
headquarters operated by US and Iraqi puppet army forces in Khan Bani
Sa'd in western Diyala Province northeast of Baghdad.
The Diyala Province correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a
source in the Iraqi puppet police as saying that three mortar shells

Mosul.
Resistance bomb blasts puppet army column in al-Muthanna neighborhood of Mosul.
In a dispatch posted at 4:50pm Mecca time Sunday afternoon,
Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded
by a column of Iraqi puppet army troops in the al-Muthanna neighborhood
in the middle of the northern Iraqi city of Mosul.
The Mosul correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses
as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of the main
road blew up as a column of Iraqi puppet army troops was driving past.
The explosion disabled one troop transport vehicle, killing three Iraqi
puppet regime soldiers and wounding three more of them.
At-Ta’mim Province.
Kirkuk.
Resistance bomb blasts US armored vehicle southwest of Kirkuk.
In a dispatch posted at 5:30pm Mecca time Sunday evening, Mafkarat
al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded by a US
column in the ar-Riyad area on the road from Kirkuk southwest to Bayji.
The Kirkuk correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported
eyewitnesses as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side fo
the road blew up by a column of five US armored vehicles and three
Humvees. The blast disabled one armored vehicle, wounding four American
troops aboard it, one of them seriously.
Bombs target Tuz Khurmatu puppet police station.
In a dispatch posted at 6:55pm Mecca time Sunday night, Mafkarat
al-Islam reported that two Iraqi Resistance bombs had exploded in the
middle of Kirkuk in northern Iraq.
The Kirkuk correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that two
Resistance bombs had blasted Iraqi puppet policemen near the Tuz
Khurmatu puppet police station in Kirkuk. Eyewitnesses in the city told
the correspondent that two bombs had been planted by the side of the
road. One blew up near the puppet police station, but caused no
casualties among the policemen. The second bomb, however, exploded as
puppet policemen gathered near the scene of the first blast. Three
puppet policemen were killed in that explosion and three more of them
wounded, Mafkarat al-Islam reported.
